Peter is a PhD candidate at Harvard University, where he researches Islamic philosophies of literature and the environment. He has traveled extensively and participated in ziyara across the Islamic world from Mauritania and Bosnia to Kashmir and Indonesia and beyond. Having walked the Camino de Santiago in 2023 and the Shikoku Henro in 2024, he is interested in global pilgrimage traditions more broadly.
